The title of this tour pretty much says it all! Hop aboard our fun and wacky bus to see Louisville's best sights, hear history and fun facts. After enjoying the many tastes you have from local restaurants, you will understand why Louisville has a reputation as a "Foodie City."
You will cruise through the country's largest display of Victorian Mansions as you learn to appreciate days gone by. Discover Old Louisville and, St James Court with its gas lit streets. A trip to this great city isn't complete without a visit Churchill Downs and its famous Twin Spires. Among other stops are the Slugger Museum, Glass Works, the Cast Iron District and more!
Hop off the bus at many special local spots where you will do a little tasting and shopping at locally owned boutiques and shops; a historic confectionery, Kentucky’s Premier Bourbon Chocolatier, Historic Fourth Street, The Falls of the Ohio, Museum Row, and a park known for its beautiful skyline view of Louisville! (Did someone say Photo Op?)
Of course, we couldn’t call ourselves City Taste Tours without letting you taste what Louisville is all about.
So, along your fun journey through Louisville, you’ll get to sample many of the area's favorites, Jenny Benedict’s Benedictine, a surprising twist on the Kentucky Hot Brown, Bourbon Chocolate Truffles, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies, Kern’s Kitchen’s Derby Pie, and many more treats. All through the excursion you will taste infused flavored Bourbons, local craft beer, regional wine... and of course, the Mint Julep!
